    Over the next two weeks, you will learn how to describe animals and their habitats, talk about the weather and seasons, and express ideas about how to take care of the environment. This block integrates English learning with real-world topics and values, encouraging you to become a more responsible, informed, and creative student. This way, you will become the main actor in your own learning process. You will manage your time, engage with technology, and connect with others in a fun and supportive virtual environment.

    • 🎯 General Goal of the Course:

      To develop students’ English communication skills through meaningful topics related to nature, animals, climate, and environmental protection, using a flipped classroom approach that fosters autonomy, creativity, and real-world connections.

      ✅ Specific Objectives:

      • Identify and describe animals, their characteristics, and their habitats using appropriate vocabulary and structures in English.

      • Talk about the weather, seasons, and climate-related phenomena using present simple and descriptive language.

      • Express ideas and suggestions about how to protect the environment and care for natural resources.

      • Engage with multimedia content (videos, readings, and interactive activities) to build vocabulary and comprehension skills.EFL 3.2.12. Ask and answer questions and exchange information on
        familiar topics in predictable everyday situations. (Example: ask for
        directions, give directions, express a personal opinion, etc.)

      • EFL 3.3.8. Make and support inferences from evidence in a text with

        EFL 3.4.2. Write a short simple paragraph to describe yourself or other
        people, animals, places and things, with limited support. (Example: by

      🔁 Modality: Flipped Classroom Description

      This course uses the Flipped Classroom model, where students first engage with instructional content at home (such as videos, readings, or interactive presentations) and then use class time for active learning. This includes speaking practice, collaborative projects, games, and problem-solving activities. The goal is to empower students to take ownership of their learning, allowing them to review content at their own pace and come prepared to participate in meaningful, communicative tasks during virtual sessions.

      Students are encouraged to:

      • Watch videos and read materials before class.

      • Participate in interactive tasks during class.

      • Complete projects or reflections after class to apply what they learned.

Week 2: Weather and Seasons

Welcome to Week 2! This time, we will explore the fascinating world of weather and the four seasons. You will learn to talk about different types of weather using expressions like “It’s sunny,” “There is snow,” or “It’s raining.” We will also discover how the weather changes across the seasons of the year and how it affects our daily lives.

Throughout the week, you will watch videos, practice new vocabulary, listen to short audio descriptions, and write about your favorite season. These activities will help you improve your listening, reading, and writing skills in English.
